Our CISV Columbus Summer Camp is almost here, and the volunteer signups are now live! We are incredibly excited to welcome our delegates and staff this summer, but we need the support of our amazing community to help make camp successful.
There are opportunities for every level of availability — from a few hours to hosting delegates for a weekend. Every role helps create a safe, welcoming, and unforgettable experience for our youth.
Whether you can volunteer time, donate supplies, host delegates, or simply help with setup or meals, your support truly matters.
Please take a moment to sign up and help where you can:
- Leaders Night Out Chaperones — July 8 from 5:00–11:00 PM (Approx. 6-hour commitment)
Help supervise an evening of fun while giving our leaders a well-earned night out. Bonus points if you can survive a room full of excited 11-year-olds fueled by snacks and freedom. - Start of Camp Homestay — June 19–21 (Hosting four 11-year-olds for the weekend)
Welcome delegates to Columbus and help kick off camp with a warm family experience. Think cultural exchange, laughter, and probably teaching someone where the snack cabinet is. - Mid-Camp Family Homestay — July 3–5 (Hosting 2–3 delegates for the weekend)
Give campers a chance to recharge mid-session with a family weekend full of rest, fun, and maybe their first experience with Midwest hospitality and air conditioning appreciation. - Laundry Help (2–3 loads of laundry as needed)
The unsung heroes of camp. Turn mysterious piles of camp laundry back into clean clothes and restore balance to the universe, one load at a time.
Help transform our site into an international summer home for peace education, friendship, and organized chaos. Many hands make lighter work.
- Camp Coordinators (Various support roles throughout camp)
- Camp Setup — June 18 at 10:00 AM
- Camp Tear Down — July 16 at 11:00 AM
- Donations Sponsor a food item, lunch, snacks… or that mysteriously overworked camp toaster. Every contribution helps keep camp running!
- Meal Help Serve a meal with a smile and help fuel peacebuilding, friendship, and campers who somehow became hungry again 14 minutes after the last meal.
Thank you for helping create an unforgettable summer for our delegates and staff. CISV camp only works because of this incredible community!
